QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TESTING

Design and revision of testing protocols according to international specifications, including AASHTO, EN, ISO, ASCE, FEMA, Japanese, etc.
Quality control of manufacturing process and compliance with applicable specifications and codes.
Supervision of full-scale prototype and quality control testing of seismic devices
Surveillance of the complete compliance and quality control process for projects implementing seismic devices, including detail technical reporting to owners and designers of the protected structures.

At Seismic Protection Solutions, LLC (SeismicPS) we are a group of enthusiastic engineers dedicated to research and engineering consultancy in the field of Earthquake and Structural Engineering. We are specialized in R&D, as well as design and implementation of seismic protection technologies for structures, including bridges, buildings, industrial structures, power plants, etc. Our headquarters are located in New York City, in the US, and we have international subsidiaries in Mexico City, Mexico and Bogota, Colombia.

We are dedicated to the development, understanding and application of advanced seismic protection technologies, which provide safer structures that are ready to successfully withstand severe earthquakes without any damage, and most importantly, without risking the human life.

Our team consists of highly qualified engineers with world-class knowledge and global experience in the research, design and application of innovating seismic design principles and strategies to ensure safer and sustainable structures. SEISMIC ISOLATION

Elastomeric Isolators, Pendulum Type Isolators

Seismic isolators provide the structure with enough flexibility so the natural period of the structure differentiates as much as possible from the natural period of the earthquake. This strategy reduces significantly the acceleration requirement on the structures and ensures that no damage occur in the structures.

We provide the following solutions for seismic isolation systems:

Lead Rubber Bearings (LRB)
High Damping Rubber Bearings (HDRB)
Low Damping Rubber Bearings (LDRB)
Pendulum Sliding Isolators (single and double)
Flat sliders (in combination with isolators)
